Privacy Policy
This page explains how your personal data is handled when you visit hawkstudioconsulting.com or get in touch through this site. In short: this site does not use profiling cookies, has no analytics or tracking systems, and only processes the data you send directly when you write or book a call.
1. Data Controller
Francesco D'Amico
VAT: 05988480876
Email: hawkstudioconsulting@gmail.com
2. What data is processed and why
a) Contact form
When you use the contact form on this site, I collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your request and manage the conversation.
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, Inc. (the hosting platform for this site) and stored in the Netlify Forms dashboard, in addition to being delivered to me by email. I retain these messages for as long as necessary to manage your request and, where a professional relationship develops, for the applicable legal terms (tax and contractual obligations).
Legal basis: Performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
b) Discovery call booking
Booking a free call happens through Calendly, a scheduling service by Calendly, LLC. When you book, you provide your name, email address, and preferred time slot. I use this data only to manage the appointment. The processing carried out by Calendly on its platform is governed by Calendly's own Privacy Policy. The call itself takes place via Google Meet.
Legal basis: Performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: For the time needed to manage the appointment and any follow-up.
c) Technical navigation data (server logs)
This site is hosted on Netlify, Inc. Like any hosting provider, Netlify records technical log data such as IP address, browser type, and visit timestamp, for the purpose of serving the site and protecting it from attacks and abuse. I do not use this data to identify you or analyse your browsing behaviour.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: According to the provider's technical schedules.
d) Google Fonts
This site loads the Montserrat typeface via Google Fonts CDN. Each time a page is visited, a request is sent to Google's servers, which may process your IP address. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in providing consistent typographic rendering across devices (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. What I do not do
- No profiling cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels (see the Cookie Policy below).
- No automated marketing: you will not receive emails from me unless you wrote first.
- No sale or transfer of your data to third parties.
- No automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
4. Recipients of the data
For the purposes described above, data may be processed by:
- Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form processing);
- Calendly, LLC (call scheduling);
- Google LLC (Google Meet for calls; Google Fonts CDN);
- the email service provider used to receive contact messages.
These providers act as processors or independent controllers under their respective terms of service.
5. International data transfers
Netlify, Calendly, and Google are US-based companies. Transfers of data to the United States take place on the basis of the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Arts. 45 and 46 GDPR).
6. Your rights
Under Arts. 15–22 GDPR, you may at any time request: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to hawkstudioconsulting@gmail.com.
If you believe that the processing violates the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence. In Italy: the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
7. Updates
This policy may be updated if the site integrates new services (newsletter, course sales, etc.). The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the one currently in force.
Cookie Policy
Pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the GDPR
Cookie Policy
This page describes what cookies are and how they are used — or not used — on hawkstudioconsulting.com.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can serve various purposes: keeping a session active, remembering preferences, or tracking your behaviour across sites for advertising purposes.
Cookies used on this site
This site does not use profiling cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels of any kind.
Netlify, the hosting provider, may set strictly technical cookies necessary for the site to function correctly (for example, to process form submissions securely). These cookies do not track you, cannot identify you personally, and are not used for any commercial or marketing purpose. Technical cookies of this kind do not require your consent under applicable regulations.
When you open the Calendly booking widget, Calendly may set its own cookies within that context. These are governed by Calendly's Cookie Policy.
How to manage cookies
Since this site only uses technical cookies, no consent banner is displayed. You can still manage, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Below are links to the relevant pages for the most common browsers:
Note: blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some third-party services integrated into this site (Calendly).
